Nieuwenhof horses start strong at Jumping Mechelen
In The Sires of the World, Feromas van Beek Z (Fantomas de Muze x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve), got an unfortunate fault at the last obstacle. Ermitage Kalone (Catoki x Kannan), who was honoured as' Landbouwleven Horse of the Year' just before the test, jumped a clear first round. In the jump-off, there was a little communication error. It earned Gilles and Ermitage ninth place in the final ranking.
Luna van het Dennehof (Prince van de Wolfsakker x Quidam de Revel) showed her good form in the 1.40m class on Thursday afternoon. The BWP mare jumped clear in her first introduction to the Mechelen Christmas Arena in 2023.
Also for Ines Van Dijck, started strongly in Mechelen. On the opening day she rode J. Comghorla van Beek Z (by Comme il Faut) to second place, on Wednesday she stayed clear in the 1.40m class and took seventh place.
