Gilles Thomas returned home from Spain's Vejer de la Frontera with a particularly good feeling. The horses had three weeks to jump and learn in ideal conditions. An ideal preparation for the 2023 sequel.

Gilles Thomas: Ermitage Kalone (Catoki x Kannan) closed the Sunshine Tour with a strong round in the 4* GP at a height of 1.55m. One penalty point for time kept us out of the jump-off, but the way he handled the course and the height, confirmed the high expectations we have in the stallion.  The other horses also jumped very well on Spanish soil.  Next weekend will be a quiet one, for a change, the week after that 's Hertogenbosch is on my agenda. Also a particularly nice show to look forward to.
