Ermitage Kalone and Gilles Thomas impress in 4*GP Maastricht
Gilles Thomas was in Maastricht last weekend with three Nieuwenhof-horses. Puskas de Kalvarie jumped to seventh place in the 1.45m class there on Sunday. In the same class stable mate Elfra van Beek Z also stayed clear. On Friday, Puskas jumped to seventh place in a 1.50m class. The most impressive performance was produced by Ermitage Kalone. The stallion jumped to sixth place in the 1.55m Grand Prix thanks to a clear basic round and a clear jump-off. Also on Saturday and Friday, the son of Catoki jumped clear rounds during his performance in a 1.45m and 1.40m class.
Gilles, meanwhile, is getting ready for the final of the Longines Global Champions Tour - Global Champions Prague Playoffs 2023 at the O2 Arena. Gilles will start in Prague with Luna van het Dennehof.
