Two years ago, BWP created a new award : the 'BWP Young Stallion Award'. That award is attributed to the BWP approved stallion who had the highest number of BWP registered foals in the previous year. Possible candidates for this award are all BWP approved stallions up to the age of 8 years included. A stallion can win this award only once.

This year the award goes to one of our stallions "Ermitage Kalone". This stallion by Catoki x Kannan has now been in our stable for 5 months and continues to charm us day after day with his many qualities. For example, Marc and Gilles believe so strongly in him that they speak of a horse for the biggest sport.

Ermitage Kalone himself is a well-moving large-framed stallion with a lot of blood, a lot of scope, a very good foreleg and very intelligent. His oldest offspring will turn 3 this year and immediately stood out during the BWP stallion approval where 3 offsprings have progressed to the third phase. He therefore seems to pass on his good qualities well, making this stallion suitable for many types of mares, making him a very popular stallion with breeders.
