A busy (travelling) weekend for Gilles Thomas – Riesling van T Roosakker helps secure a Belgian victory in Kronenberg

It was a busy weekend of travelling for Gilles Thomas and the Nieuwenhof horses. Gilles was competing at 5* level in Monaco for the GCT/CCl with Luna van het Dennehof and Qiara De Kalvarie. With Riesling van T Roosakker, Gilles took part in the 3* competition in Kronenberg, the Netherlands.

On Friday evening, Riesling van T Roosakker helped secure a Belgian victory in the Nations Cup. This was followed by a sixth-place finish in Sunday’s Grand Prix. In Monte Carlo, Qiara De Kalvarie took third place on Saturday in the 1.45m class. Luna had one fault in the Grand Prix and finished in twentieth place in Monaco.
