Sanne Melsen is Cavalor Groom of the Year

The FEI Awards were presented during the FEI General Assembly in Hong Kong. Sanne Melsen, the indispensable support behind Gilles Thomas and many of the Nieuwenhof horses, was awarded the title of Cavalor Groom of the Year.

Her professionalism, commitment and daily dedication are very important to our stable, our horses and Gilles as a rider. The fact that this has been an unforgettable season, with European gold in the team classification and individual bronze, is also largely due to Sanne's daily commitment and love for the horses. This award highlights an essential and often discreet, but absolutely central role in sporting success.
