Konak leaves Stal Nieuwenhof
Today Konak left our stables. Konak was bred by Jef Hens and Marc Van Dijck and was also owned by Hens-Van Dijck throughout his career. He came to our stable when he was 4 years old. Gilles has competed several times as a 4 year old, but it was mainly Jordy Oostvogels and Mike Vanhaudt who trained Konak as a young horse. Gilles finally took over the reins as a 7-year-old. As a young horse he jumped one clear round after another. At the age of 8 Konak won his first 2* GP in Moorsele and after that one classification followed another.
