Gold for Super Star van ‘t Keikelhof and silver for Tant Mieux “S” in Gesves

Stal Nieuwenhof's horses performed handsomely last week and weekend at the Belgian Championships for young horses in Gesves. In the final of the six-year-old horses, Marthe Heudens jumped to first (!) place with Super Star van ‘t Keikelhof (Big Star x For Pleasure). Owner and breeder of the winner in the six-year-olds is Hans Hemelaar.

Tant Mieux ‘S’ (Udarco van Overis x Diamant de Semilly) came a second in the final of the five-year-olds. With Jordy Oostvogels in the saddle, this breeding product of Jef Hens and Marc Van Dijck showed very nice and clear rounds.

Also in the final for five-year-old horses were The Lewis vh Heidehof (Udarco van Overis x Chin Chin ), - winner of the Cycle for five-year-old horses - and Scotch vh Dennehof, (Ducati van Schuttershof x Prince van de Wolfsakker), a son of Luna vh Dennehof, and Silver van t'Keikelhof (Cornet Obolensky x For Pleasure ), the half-sister of Super Star, in the final for six-year-old horses.
