In the final of the Global Champions League Super Cup in Prague, victory went to Riesenbeck International's team with a total of eight penalties. The Valkenswaard United team, with Markus Ehning, John Withaker and Gilles Thomas also realised a total of eight penalties over the two final rounds and rode to place two.  Gilles Thomas rode the BWP mare Luna van het Dennehof (Prince vd Wolfsakkker x Quidam de Revel), bred by Marck van Dijck and Patrick de Munck. In the first round, Gilles got a fault on the last obstacle. In round two, the U25 rider remained handsomely clear. "I am very satisfied with the way Luna jumped here. It was also very nice to team up with greats like Markus and John." Gilles looks back on the past weekend.
