Eight-year-old Lavanoche T&L Z wins jump-off GP CSI2* Lier
Gilles Thomas enjoyed a successful CSI2* Lier. Chuck Marienshof Z and Moon Flower J&F Champblanc Z recorded clear rounds in the 1.40m classes. Lavanoche T&L Z stayed clear in each of his three performances. In the 1.45m GP on Sunday, the eight-year-old mare won with Gilles in the saddle. In a jump-off with 14 candidates, the duo stayed clear and were faster than Irishman Bertram Allen (Lucifer) and Christophe Vanderhasselt (Pimpernel Vitseroel).
Marthe Hedens rode Qiara de Kalvarie to third place in a 1.40m class on Saturday. With Riviera van het Dennehof, she became second in the class for seven- and eight-year-old horses on Thursday.
Next weekend, Gilles will be competing in Geneva with Ermitage, Luna van het Dennehof and Elfra van Beek Z.
