Chuck Marienshof Z jumps to third place in GP at The Zangersheide International 3*GP
After the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Gilles Thomas sought something closer to home. Gilles took three horses to Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Limburg. A new asset, the nine-year-old Heloise de Creans, who, with Ines van Dijck, was given time to grow in international sport. And the slightly more experienced Chuck Marienshof Z and his stable mate Qalista DN, who were allowed to get back into the rhythm after a few weeks of rest. Heloise de Creans jumped twice to a top ten ranking in a 1.40m class. Qalista competed three times and did not touch a single fence. Chuck Marienshof Z also picked up the right rhythm immediately and jumped to third place in the closing 1.50m GP on Sunday.
Next weekend, Gilles will be in action at the EquiLannoo Belgian Stallion Competition in Lier, where he will compete with the six-year-old Ultra Star JM, the seven-year-old The Lewis van het Heidehof and Kenzo de Kalvarie Z.
